All official KMDSI Technician and Operator/User Certificates & Certification Cards are issued by Dive Lab only. Dive Lab issues Certificates and/or Certification Cards after reviewing the course completion forms submitted from authorized KMDSI Dealer trainers and authorized commercial diver training schools. Dealer and schools are not authorized to issue their own certificates and Technician and/or Operator/User training.

If you do not have a Dive Lab issued Certificate or a Certification Card then you are not an authorized/recognized Kirby Morgan Technician.

OPERATOR/USERS & TECHNICIANS  – Will receive a Certification Card

Certification Card will serve as an official document/proof of certification issued by Dive Lab. Cost is $40.00 each. Optional Paper Certificate is available to order for $20.00 each, if ordered at the time of the course. If paper display certificate is ordered at a later time – the cost is $40.00 each

NOTE: Technicians – once your certificate has expired no extensions will be granted

DEALERS & DEALER INSTRUCTORS & TECHNICIAN INSTRUCTORS – Will receive a Paper Certificate

Certification Paper will serve as an official document/proof of certification issued by Dive Lab. Cost is $40.00 each, as of January 1, 2023. Optional Certification Card is available to order for $20.00 each, if ordered at the time of the course. If certification card is ordered at a later time – the cost is $40.00 each

MAILING CERTIFICATES

Dive Lab will mail Certification Cards/Paper Certificates to Instructors in U. S. using Regular U.S. Postal Service/without tracking – at no charge. For shipments overseas, via Regular U.S. Postal Service/without tracking, the cost is dependent upon the amount of certifications cards ordered. Some countries overseas experience difficulty with reliable postal service, therefore Dive Lab highly recommends some form of tracking such as FedEx, DHL, International Priority with Tracking or others. Dive Lab is not responsible for lost mail

CERTIFICATE EXPIRATION DATES

First time Technicians will receive a 3 year certificate. Returning students are eligible for a 4 year re-certification, but only if previous certificate has not expired. No exceptions. It is the responsibility of a Technician to always stay current on their certifications!
